Free building in the Garden
On 22 February 2018 in a joint State-Regions conference, agreement was reached on the first 58 definitions (but the list is still open!) Of private building interventions that do not require communications (Cil, Cila, Scia) or permission to build .
Among these, many concern the appurtenant areas, including typical garden masonry works often a cause of dispute between the municipalities and the owners, which now will not be more contestable.

Some of these definitions are of particular interest to us, for example:

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of works for garden furniture (for example brick barbecues, fountains, walls, sculptures, flower boxes, benches and similar);

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of gazebos of limited size and not permanently fixed to the ground;

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of pergolas of limited size and not permanently fixed to the ground;

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of tool sheds, accessory items of limited size and not permanently fixed to the ground;

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of awnings, pergolas, light furniture coverings;

Installation, repair, replacement, renovation of non-masonry vertical dividing elements.
